On April 12th, Shine On! Kids hosted the Fighters Meet Fighters 2025 event at Club360 Roppongi.
In the very same gym that they’ve been putting in hard work for months to prepare for fight night, the fighters participating in EFN XIII spoke to the kids, sharing their personal connections and motivations for helping support Shine On! Kids while getting the chance to see firsthand who they were fighting to support.
As a part of the meet-and-greet, the kids presented the fighters with hand-decorated daruma and got a chance to practice their boxing skills with the fighters.
The Hospital Facility Dog Program’s trained dogs made an appearance partway through the event, bringing smiles to fighters and children alike. The money raised for Shine On! Kids through EFN XIII will go to supporting this program, which places these dogs and their trainers in 30 hospitals across Japan, creating a spark of joy for children in the battle with cancer.
